Owner, Kimberly Timbs, has been working with museum collections for the
past seven years. She received an MA in Principles of Conservation and an Msc in Conservation of
Archaeological and Museum Objects at the Institue of Archaeology,
University College London and worked as an intern at the British
Museum in the Department of Conservation and Scientific Research, where she worked with stone and organic materials, and at the Instituto Nacional de Cultura Cusco in Peru, where she worked with environmental monitoring. She has
worked with the collection at the History Center of San Luis Obispo
County for more than three years.
As an object conservator, Timbs is trained to work on a variety of
materials. She also offers consultation
services on collection condition and storage. Timbs can help you
repackage and store your family heirlooms for the next generation.
